Individual Counselling
Individual counselling is, first and foremost, an avenue for self understanding. Through therapy, you will feel understood and supported. This in turn will lead to the ability to set and achieve personal goals.

Everyone experiences anxiety or depression some time in their lives. This may be related to past trauma, grief/loss, or feeling stressed/burnt out because of your relationships, career, life transitions, or health issues. Alternatively, you may just feel that your current situation is unclear and confusing and would like to gain some clarity. During these times, it is helpful to talk to someone who is non-judgemental and who can guide you to find your direction.
Humans are relational in nature. So, in addition to looking at the your current issues, individual counselling will also explore the impact of relationships on who we are and how we function.

My work with you in individual therapy will incorporate Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Attachment Repair and Processing Therapy (ARPT). Your treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs.
